i saw these little easter baskets somewhere a while back and thought they were adorable.

all you need is: fiber pots (from any gardening store), floral wire, ribbon and goodies.

pretty quick and easy and oh so cute!

these looked so yummy too, so i had to give them a try. i used chocolate rice krispies cereal (following the recipe for rice krispies treats) molded the treats into cupcake cups, added a little edible easter grass and a few m&m's. i think the look of the chocolate krispies fits the nest idea better than the original, but i prefer the taste of original rice krispie treats so i will have to figure something out if i make them again.
i did a lot more baking but never got around to taking any photos of all the other goodies. let's just say they were delicious!

i love little projects. i love excuses, like holidays, to make neat little things!

i envy those girls that have craft rooms, or even craft tables.
