maybe we should start a band

I've been on this "old school" music kick these days.

yesterday it was taking back sunday "tell all your friends"

something I was SO into like sophomore year of highschool... 9 years ago?!?!

[I'll spare you another "I'm getting old" rant]

back in the days of the get up kids, jimmy eat world and weezer [before "beverly hills"]

devon says "one day ella is gonna hate your music"

wow. that's harsh.

maybe she's gonna be the cool kid that knows all these amazing old bands. she'll share my love for tim kasher. and listen to minus the bear and time spent driving. she'll love juliana theory.

or maybe my music will just be old.

oh well.

I guess I can always strive to be the cool mom who takes her to shows.

or at least let's her go.
